Creating a Caring Community: Ideas found here!

"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" ~ John C. Maxwell
  • Be Intentional
  • Be Present
  • Be a Community

C3 Intentionally ~ 12:50-1:10

Note: Creating a caring community is an intentional approach to concerns regarding respect and responsibility as expressed by The Berkshire Community - staff, students, and parents. It is research-driven and research-supported. See "Resources" tab for research information.

Idea #1: Pay-it-forward commercial video (5:45)

Idea #2: How do we create a caring community?
In 8th grade Language Arts we are creating a caring community by....
-Discussing what a caring community is and looks like. See the Wordle below to see what we found (the largest words are those that came up most often).
-Discussing how we can create a community that looks like this!
-Participating in team-building activities (we may have played duck-duck-goose on the grass outside....)
-Our Plan: Create a C3 Motto and a teamwork activity that helps the Berkshire community or others!
